Animal lovers, the perfect festival for you is happening this weekend in Montreal. And no, I don't mean cat or dog lovers, I mean animals in the broadest sense, as the Salon National des Animaux de Compagnie is taking over Place Bonaventure this Saturday & Sunday, and will be bringing along thousands of furry, feathered, and scaled little critters of all sorts.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Salon National des Animaux de Compagnie will take place from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, November 29th and 'til 6pm on Sunday, November 9th. Thousands of animals and pets (reptiles, fish, rabbits,) will be on-site, along with pony rides, a bird section, and a dog agility tournament. Needless to say, if you love animals, you'll be having tons of fun.

One of the biggest events to take place at the SNAC will be the dog and cat show competition, where professional breeders from all around Canada and the U.S. will pit their pets against each other to take the spot of top canine/feline. A total 200 cats and dogs from 50 different breeds will be featured in the competition, all assessed by a panel of 10 judges. We'll just be choosing the best cats and dogs based on their cuteness-levels, which we assume you'll be doing too.

The Montreal Salon National des Animaux de Compagnie "Pet Festival" will take place this weekend at Place Bonaventure. Head over to the SNAC Montreal official website for more info and ticket prices.
