Today, we received a Snap from one of our fans on Snapchat, Adam Boucher, asking us"You guys should make a top 10 bars to go when you turn 18, cause well im turning 18 this month and idk where to go lmao".
We decided to go ahead and do it because well, Montreal has the best nightlife in North America, no questions asked. When it comes to bars or concert & event venues our city is just full of beautiful hidden treasures.
Let's look at the best spots for you, young Montrealer, to enjoy your 18th birthday to the fullest.
1. Soubois - 1106 Maisonneuve Blvd W, Montreal, QC H3A 1M7
Soubois, newest addition to Montreal's nightlife, has been the home of many insane parties these past months. If you're looking for a great spot to properly turn up, this is it. Soubois organizes dope events every weekend and you might have the chance to catch the local famous host DL Jones or even the international DJ Diplo.
2. Ecole Privee - 1 Rue Milton, Montreal, Quebec
Ecole Privee invites you to come over to party like you've never before. The venue has the best sound system currently available in the world and with a very dark atmosphere, Ecole Privee is the gucci spot to hang with the trend setters. Get there early.
3. Apt.200 - 3643 Boul St-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2X 2V5
Apt.200 is now a classic for any Montrealer looking to go to the so called "hottest spot in town". For your birthday, make sure you email them before at apt200mtl@gmail.com to ensure yourself and your friends an entrance ticket. Also, get there early, part 2.

Newspeak is the home of electro music. If you are a fan of EDM, whatever sub-genre, go ahead and step into their world; we promess, it's something else. See the picture above for their crazy lighting visuals they put up every night for your own pleasure.

Flyjinn is a little more cash demanding than others listed here, but oh lord is it worth it ! If you are looking to make your birthday a flamboyant one, head to Flyjinn for all kinds of dope surprises.
6. Fitzroy - 551 Avenue du Mont-Royal E, Montréal, QC H2J 1W4
Fitzroy is the bar of Mont-Royal Avenue. For some Le Plateau action, head to the hottest billard/club/bar spot in town. Every one dresses on point, entry is pretty easy. It is, however, a little more relax than other places on the list.
7. Blizzarts - 3956 Boul St-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2W
With only around 100 capacity, this place is 100% your chance to turn up properly on your birthday. With events every weeekend, you are sure to get your moves on, get in etiher free or super cheap amd have a blast. Small places always host the best turn-ups.
8. The Blue Dog - 3958 Boul St-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2W 1Y3

Tokyo Bar is now a classic for any university student in Montreal. Good drinks deal and enjoyable party people all year long. You get amazing bottle deals and you are straight on St-Laurent street to reach anywhere else you need to go after!

Le Belmont has the biggest events in town. It is mostly an event & concert venue, but hopefully you can catch a great event at the same day as your birthday. They actually have Vince Staples coming up this saturday with The Posterz, don't miss out!
11. SuWu - 3581 Boul St-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2X 2T6
During the day, SuWu is a cozy place to grab a drink or a meal. However, nights become quite intense and you definitely want to be there when shit goes down. Great drinks, beautiful people and always amazing music for you enjoy your birthday.

Cafe Campus is not your typical "cool spot", but is definitely where you can get an easy birthday sex scenario. Sorry we're just being real here. Add to that, cheapest drinks on the list and a great space to dance.

Everyone in Montreal knows New City Gas. We have added it because of how fun it is to actually go and be 100% sure your night will be a monster turn-up until 3am clocks in. Buy your tickets asap for all their shows, they have events every weekend with the top Djs in the world.
Velvet / Auberge St-Gabriel - 426 Rue Saint Gabriel, Montréal, QC H2Y 2Z9
If you are looking to mix your young body with the coolest 25-35 of Montreal, head to Velvet. With amazing music, you will dance and mix around with beautiful people. Ladies - best spot to get a nice bearded gentleman with an Old Port condo.

14. TRH-Bar - 3699 Boul St-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2X 2V7
TRH-Bar, also called Trash Bar, is the trashiest bar of the list here, but by far can become the most fun. Looking back at our aventures there, we can safely say you won't get out of it on your feet. They're Pabst deals are wonderful and they even got beer pong tables for you on the second floor!

Salon Daome is the spot on Mont-Royal Avenue for electro music action, of any genre whatsoever. My personal favorite night is on the Wednesdays for Oasis Wednesdays.

16. Mad Hatter - 1220 Rue Crescent, Montréal, QC H3G 2B1
For some Crescent street action, head to Mad Hatter for a lovely time, and a lot, LOT of beer. You'll pretty much end up drinking until you can't see your buddies, and that's ok, its your 18th birthday.

For some Mile-End action, Ping Pong Club is your spot to choose ! You are invited to play Ping Pong (yes actual ping pong) and drink an unhealthy amount of alcohol. During summer, they have a wonderful terrace directly on the street for you to enjoy the sun and your drink!
18. Mme Lee - 151 Rue Ontario E, Montréal, QC H2X 1H5
Mme Lee is so lowkey most people don't even know about it. It is the coolest spot around Berri-Uqam and lower St-Laurent. Head there for amazing drinks & dope people. The staff and establishment is welcoming and always ready to serve you the best cocktails out there.
