Montreal's Biggest Summer Party On A Boat Sets Sail From The Old Port In August 2014

August 2nd will mark the end of Montreal's Electronic Groove (MEG) festival, and after ten days of musical acts and DJ sets on St. Laurent, MEG will conclude in the most epic of ways, as it has for the past 16 years. Get ready for the electronic party cruise/final MEG party that is the MEG Boat.

The MEG Boat launches out from the Old Port (map) and takes to the waves for one final music-filled party. You'll get to see the lights of Montreal as you dance the night away on the ultimate party boat, with 4 different DJs keeping the beat alive. This year's MEG Boat's (and the festival's) sweet sixteen, so expect even more wild energy, just not the "My Super Sweet Sixteen" kind.

A full two weeks of shows will prelude the MEG Boat, all situated on St. Lo at venues like Le Belmont, La Sala Rossa, and Divan Orange. MEG will even be having its own day at Piknic Electronik on July 27th. So even though MEG Boat is going to be the ultimate closing party to the festival, there are tons of solid events leading up to the wet 'n wild boat ride you won't want to miss either.

Saturday August 2nd will be the date of the MEG Boat ride, with the festival starting on July 24th. Make sure to check out the full lineup of performers and get your tickets ASAP before they sell out. That goes double for the MEG Boat, as space will be limited.

Get all the info at MEG'sofficial website and FB page and get ready to groove Montreal.

Will we see you riding the MEG Boat?
