Montreal’s Hidden Terrasse By The River You Should Go To This Summer

If we missed it, so did you.

We thought we knew where to find the best terrasses in Montreal...until we saw this one. Le Bistro des moulins de Cité historia's waterside terrasse was hidden right under our noses, until now (thanks InMyFoodSteps) and now we basically have to get a pint and enjoy nature there ASAP.

Smack dab in the heart of Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park (map) and housed in the historic Maison du Meunier, Le Bistro de moulins is a crazy-cool mix of nature, history, and good food. Add in the magical waterside terrasse that overlooks the Rivière des Prairies, and you've got yourself more than enough reasons to make the trip to Le Bistro de moulins.

Bistro de Moulin has been open since May 17th, and will continue to be open everyday from 10am to 10pm until September 28th. Check the weather before you make the trek though, as the bistro and terrasse is closed on rainy days.

*Update June 2017:*

We actually called this spot and found out that it's open only on the weekends from now until June 25. As of June 26, it'll be open every day from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

As an added altruistic benefit, the Bistro de moulin's profits all go towards Cité Historia and making sure the historic site stays open. Feel good about doing a good deal as you drink some good beer on a very good waterside terrasse, sound good?

Get all the info at Bistro des moulin's FB page and Cité Historia's website.

Will you be going to Bistro de moulins?
