Montreal's Clock Tower Beach In The Old Port Opens Today

Beaches are pretty sparse in the Montreal area, so thank the gods of summer that a beach is opening right here in the city. Tomorrow, May 31st, will be the official opening date of Montreal's Clock Tower Beach. Tanning and drinking in the park will not be your only option with the soft sands of the Clock Tower Beach available.

Located in the Old Port (map) the Clock Tower Beach gives you the whole beach-experience, sand, sun, on-site bar, and hot folks in swimwear included. You won't want to swim in the St. Lawrence river, but, lets be real here folks, who cares about swimming when you have beers and beach volleyball? That's right, no one.

Here's the schedule for the Clock Tower Beach:

  • May 31 to June 20: Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm
  • June 21 to September: Every day from 11am to 5pm

Don't worry about entrance fees or anything like that, because the Clock Tower Beach is totally free! Check out the rule book for all regulations, for anyone worried about getting booked.
