Montreal's Concordia University Is Hosting A "Vegan Cheese Festival"

Do you love cheese? Maybe you've adopted a vegan lifestyle, are lactose intolerant or you're not familiar with all the possible alternatives and you don't know where to start? Well, we've got some good news for you.

I know, it sounds too good to be true. But, it IS true! Cheese can be vegan too.

This workshop is going to give you the scoop on everything you need to know about vegan cheese so that you can enjoy all the ooey-gooey goodness of cheese, no matter what your diet or lifestyle.

There will be experts from Urban Homestead Montreal there to introduce you two five different vegan cheeses for you to taste including:

  • Cashew Cheddar

  • Macadamia Nut Feta

  • Nacho Cheese

  • and more!

All of these cheeses are completely animal by-product-free, and some are even gluten-free as well. 

There will be demonstrations on how you can incorporate vegan cheese into all of your favourite recipes. Like what, you might ask? Cue vegan poutine.

This event will be taking place on November 13 at 5:30pm in the Concordia greenhouse on the 13th floor of the Hall building, 1445 de Maisonneuve Blvd. W. 

Tickets cost $20 each and there is limited space so be sure to reserve your spot ASAP.
