A Reddit user named altmantv posted a video on YouTube 2 days ago (March 28th). When his grandfather passed away he left him all of his rolls of film and altmantv has been patiently scanning and restoring the historical footage.
This particular footage is of Montreal's Expo '67 and when you watch it, it's almost like being there. It's amazing to see how ahead of its time Montreal was, it almost makes you wonder what the hell happened. In the footage you can see many of the pavilions from the Expo as well as the early beginnings of LaRonde including the monorail, the gondola that took you for a ride over the lake (Sadly no longer in operation) La Spirale and even La Pitoune.
