Armwrestles are a classic test of strength, and we've all partaken in the manly-macho ceremony of the armwrestle, either at a bar or with friends. Now all those who think they truly have the biggest guns in the city can prove their armstrength at the 1st annual Meta-Hook Armwrestling Tournament in Montreal.

To be held on September 20th the 3rd floor of the Montreal Forum, Montreal's first armwrestling tournament isn't just for large burly men with bulging biceps. Three separate weight classes will be in competition (0-160lbs, 161-210lbs, 211lbs+) and there will also be a women's tournament, all with cash prizes for the top three competitors.

So if you're the lean but strong type, you'll have a place to compete at the Meta-Hook Armwrestling Tourney. You will have to register though, which also lands you a t-shirt. Pre-registration ends tomorrow August 15th, so if you want the best prices and the tee, get on registering now.

Montreal's inauguarl Meta-Hook Armwrestling Tournament will begin at 2pm on September 20th at the Montreal Forum. To get all the details on the event, registration, and hotel accomdations (if you're an out of towner-armwrestler) head over to the FB page for full details.
