Just like the ones that will be offered at Jerry Ferrer this Friday, November 18.

On November 18, Jerry Ferrer will be opening up 2 new locations: one in Montreal's Plateau (2 Sherbrooke E) and one in Greenfield Park (3139 Boul. Taschereau).

So, to celebrate, the restaurant is offering free burgers to the first 1000 clients who make it to the opening.

Montreal Police Found 2 People Dead In A Plateau Apartment Building

A police spokesperson said the individuals showed signs of violence.

At around 3:15 a.m. on Friday morning, Montreal police received a call about an unconscious person in an apartment building on rue Saint-Urbain and avenue Fairmount. When officers arrived, they found two people dead.

According to SPVM spokesperson Véronique Comtois, the individuals exhibited signs of violence.

It's Le Burger Week right now, which means the city is full of burger spirit. To take things up a notch, a Montreal food truck is giving away free burgers this weekend — and all you have to do is show up and chow down.

To get your free burger, head to Winneburger at Jean-Talon Market on Saturday or Sunday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The earlier the better, though, because they're only giving out burgers while supplies last.

Median condo prices in the Montreal area are up 20% compared to last August, according to a report by the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB). But some areas saw even bigger price increases.

The report looked at several general areas within the greater metro area, including Montreal Island, the North and South Shore, Laval, and the MRC of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
