Montreal's Grilled Cheese Month 2015

November is going to be super cheesy.
Montreal's Grilled Cheese Month 2015

When the cold winds of November set in, you're going to want a meal that's both warming, comforting, and utterly delicious. Soups are overdone, you've had poutine way too many times, and pasta just screams broke student too much. That leaves you with one amazing option: the might grilled cheese.

A truly versatile dish that can be made a plethora of ways, grilled cheese is the kind of simple yet satisfying meal you just need to calm your hunger pangs and help you deal with the impending arrival of winter.

Eating a standard grilled cheese can get kind of repetitive, so Montreal's premier grilled cheeseries (yes, that's a made up word) are taking GCs to the next level this November for the second annual Montreal Grilled Cheese Month.

Both Le Cheese Truck and L'Gros Luxe are participating in this 30-day food event (let us know if there are any more!) that has a pretty simple concept. For every day of the month, both restos will be crafting new grilled cheese creations. That means you get to enjoy a different grilled cheese every day of November, with flavours ranging from simple and decadent to refined and sophisticated.

For the month, Le Cheese has even teamed up with Uber to make getting your taste buds on some grilled cheese even easier. Send the promo code LECHEESE30X30 to any first-time rider, and you can get $10 off your ride there and back from at Le Cheese Casse Croute. Le Cheese is even letting you choose what grilled cheeses they make, so be sure to submit your ideas via Twitter (#betweentwobreads) or by email before the end of the month.

What's in store for your grilled cheese-loving mouth all of November? We have the full set-list for Grilled Cheese Month from L'Gros Luxe below, and thei first week of Le Cheese's menu below, and just be sure to watch out for the rest of the lineup as the month goes on.
