Montreal’s Hidden Fried Chicken Restaurant You Need To Try With Your Friends

Crispy, golden, and straight-up delicious.
Montreal’s Hidden Fried Chicken Restaurant You Need To Try With Your Friends

Honestly, guys, I don't know many foods that are better than fried chicken. It's super crispy, super tasty, and super moist, making it a contender for being one of the best comfort food dishes in existence. And, although there's no such thing as bad fried chicken, when it's good... well, it's really, really good.

Which is why I was super excited to stumble upon James Rooster Esq. (200 Boul St-Laurent), hidden in Old Montreal.

This spot has one seriously adorable courtyard terrasse. It's almost sandwiched between buildings, which means if you don't know what you're looking for, you might walk right by it. Thankfully, you do know what you're looking for.

Not only is the courtyard too adorable for words, but the menu sounds awesome. Fried chicken, pizza by the slice, sandwiches, pasta, steak? Um. Yes, I'm totally there for that.
