Montreal's Insane 'Filipino Themed' Restaurant You must Try ASAP

I don't know about you, but I am ALWAYS looking to try different restaurants from all across the globe that can be found right here in Montreal. Lately I've been craving Filipino food that gives me those vacation vibes. Luckily, Montreal has blessed us with a Filipino themed restaurant that looks too good to be true.

This restaurant has been open since 2003and their authentic Filipino cuisine will completely BLOW YOUR MIND! You can expect nothing less than fabulous Filipino food and great service that will legit transport you across the globe to the Philippines. You've heard of the "Caribbean Themed" Restaurant and the "Hawaiian Themed" snack bar, and trust me they are 514% amazing, but this Filipino restaurant is to die for.via @ln3sl

Cusine de Manille formerly known as Pearl of Manila, is an authentic Filipino restaurant that has been serving up traditional dishes for several years in Montreal. Not only is their food unique, but so is the fact that there is no menu! Customers choose their meals from a set of dishes.

They specialize in Filipino dishes that are both rooted in Spanish and Asian influences such as  traditional lumpia rolls, pancit dishes, lechon (pork on a spit), dinuguan (savory pork stew in a spicy dark gravy of pig blood), and their most popular halo-halo dessert!

I have to take a moment just to talk about their halo-halo dessert! It may sound like a weird combination, but it is actually to die for. Halo-halo is a popular Filipino dessert with mixtures of shaved ice and evaporated milk to which are added various ingredients, including boiled sweet beans, coconut, sago, and fruits. I actually first came across Cusine de Manille (located on 5781 Victoria Ave) at the "Asian Street Food" Festival and I immediately fell in love. This family business sure has stolen my heart! I mean nothing is better than their fresh dishes!
