Montreal's Jacques Cartier Bridge To Get An Outdoor Bar And Beach This Summer

Starting on June 20th, Montreal's end of the Jaque-Cartier Bridge will turn into an outdoor party zone full of awesome features, and better yet, entirely free.
Dubbed the "village éphémère," the new party-zone will include an outdoor theatre, a beach, food trucks, art installations, and very best of all, a bar for drinks.
The project is being installed by L’ADUQ, in collaboration with the borough of Ville-Marie, with the aim of creating a space to expose and appreciate the underrepresented cultural aspects of Montreal.
Urban design is a key element to the village éphémère (aside from summer fun) and the area hopes to provide a space for designers to showcase their work. Check out the open call for proposals here.
