Montreal's Lobby Bar Is Throwing A Huge 1$ Fresh Oysters Party Tomorrow

The dawn of September doesn't need to be all about bad tidings of colder weather and shorter days, because with autumn comes oyster season, and nothing beats slurping of the tastiest treat from the sea.

To celebrate the start of oyster season, Lobby Bar is throwing a huge Oyster Party tomorrow (Thursday, August 28th) starting at 7pm. Bringing in seafood-stock from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI, the oysters will be fresh and in abundance, a key aspect of any oyster-themed party.

Oyster shots will be served to get everyone in a party mood, along with oyster rockefeller with a bunch of toppings, oyster platters for big groups, and, for the frugal folks, $1 oysters will be on the menu. Everyone can afford to eat some oysters at this party, and being aphrodisiacs, well, you know...

Don't forget that Montreal will also be hosting it's own oyster festival (aptly titled OysterFest) on September 7th. Think of Lobby Bar's event as the oyster pre-drink, a way to grow your oyster appetite before the giant Old Port party the following week.
