Montreal's McGill University Is Hosting An "All You Can Eat Pie Party" Tomorrow

Perhaps the most comforting of all foods to be found in the realm of sweets is the mighty pie. From fruit-filled to chocolate, nothing sets you right like a piece of pie, not that you'd ever stop at just one slice. This Sunday, you won't have to, as one McGill sorority is fulfilling your childhood dream and inviting you to an all you can eat pie buffet.

Yes, on Sunday, November 16th, prepare to eat all of the pies at annual AOII "Warmth of Pies" charity event. The concept is simple: come hungry, pay $10 at the door (make sure to bring a canned good), then proceed to gorge on every kind of pie your brain can dream up. All proceeds are going straight towards supporting the Old Brewery Mission, so justify all the calories by saying your pie-gasms is for charity.

To ensure you can get your pie-on, here's the basic breakdown of info for the event:

  • Who: The Kappa Phi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi, and you
  • Where: 3581 University Street, Sigma Chi House (map)
  • When: Sunday, November 16th from 11:30am to 6pm
  • How: $10 with a canned donation, $15 without
  • Why: To support the Old Brewery Mission, and pie, of course

This is a BYOM* event, so come fully pie-prepared. Find out more by heading to the official facebook event page here.

*BYOM = Bring Your Own Milk
