Montreal is now home to a new fantastic travelling art installation called "Polar Bears On This Ice".
The sculpture was done by Peter Boy and Julien Doré on behalf of the Quebec based environmental group Équiterre and the World Wildlife Fund.
It consists of a life-sized polar bear made of ice, but since the weather is unseasonably warm this year, the ice slowly melts, revealing a bronze skeleton underneath. The sculpture is meant to show the impact of global warming.
You can see the sculpture on display until December 12th at 50 Sainte-Catherine Street, West.
