Montreal's Metro Yellow Line Will Be Shut Down For 25 Weekends In 2014

This just in, Le Journal De Montreal is reporting that the STM will be shutting down the metro yellow line during 25 weekends in 2014. They will be putting 11 million dollars of renovation into it before the summer before peak traffic months commence.

If you were planning on going to Parc Jean Drapeau at any of those times, better forget about it till Piknic comes back.

More info on what exact weekends it will be shut down has not been revealed just yet but it seems to be starting as soon as March. Stay tuned.

*The work should not affect the months of June-July-August.
