Beer drinkers can finally rejoice (not that they haven't been rejoicing so far) because Montreal is getting its very own authentic German themed beer hall this June. The new hall will be located at 5885 Papineau and is owned by the co-owners of Mile Public HouseNacho Libre and Brutus.

The hall features long wooden tables to make every day feel like it's Oktoberfest in Germany. The bar will have 20 draft lines available as well as a huge selection of German beers and beer cocktails. And before you ask, yes they will have the legendary Das Boot glass because drinking beer out of a regular shaped glass is for suckers.

Das Bier will also have stein lockers available for a monthly fee where you can keep your very own engraved stein so that it will be waiting for you every time you visit. You can also expect to find all your favorite German bar food including giant pretzels and sausages. Plus, as a bonus, the staff will be sporting traditional German lederhosen to give that authentic German beer garden feel.
