Montreal's Old "Metropolis" Sign Has Been Completely Transformed

About a month ago, the old Metropolis sign was removed from the facade of the building and people went a little crazy on Facebook.

Not only were they not happy about the fact that the name was changing from "Metropolis" to "M Telus", but they were also sad to see another part of Montreal's history getting removed.

But the theater did promise they weren't removing the sign permanently, only refurbishing it.

So now the "all-new" sign is back with a horrible name where Metropolis used to read.
