When the sun starts to set, the party begins. Divers/Cité 2014 is wasting no time in getting the drinking and dancing started this coming Saturday, with the one the festival's premiere events suitably titled "The Sunset Party."
A fully outdoor event, Divers/Cité's Sunset Party will feature four different DJs, all of whom are renowned world-wide and have a unique sound. Alyson Calagna, Mightykat,Kim Ann Foxman and Montreal’s very own Misstress Barbara (winner of Best Montreal DJ in the 2014 MTL Awards) will be spinning as soon as the sun goes down, making for one hell of a Saturday night.
The Sunset Party will begin @ 4:30pm at the Loto-Québec Stage at Quay Jacques-Cartier. The event isn't free, which is a bit of a let down, but 4 DJs at an Old Port outdoor party is worth spending some money on. While you can just buy a pass at the door, you'll save some dollars if you buy'em early online.
An event not to be missed, the Sunset Party is but one of the many legit parties going on during Divers/Cité, which began yesterday and runs 'til August 3rd. Check out the full program of events and parties here. Otherwise, see you at sunset.

A Bombay spokesperson described the maze as a "large-scale [...] whimsical oasis" with walls that "cloak the discoverable experiences within."
The maze installations are being created by Quebec's Charlie Larouche (Glassware Artist), Jeroen Kleijn (DJ & Olfactory Artist) and Chantal Royer (Botanical Artist) who were inspired by the taste of Bombay Bramble, a new naturally-flavoured raspberry and blackberry gin.
The experience will be completely free, and anyone over the age of 18 can take part.
In addition to a Bombay Bramble sample, guests will leave with a signature Bombay Sapphire Balloon Glass that they can use to stir up fun drinks at home.
