Montreal's Olympic Park Is Hosting A Massive FREE Symphonic Orchestra Night

For when you want to feel classy af!

If you love music and live shows, or even if you just like free things, then you need to head over to the Olympic Park's Esplanade tomorrow, August 5, for what is sure to be an amazing night of beautiful symphonic orchestra performances. Starting at 7pm the park will be filled with the sights and sounds of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal.

The show will open with a performance to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, with 9 dancers from La Poesia Del Flamenco company dancing to the musical arrangements. Then, at 8pm "A Night At The Opera" will begin, with Bizet's Carmen, possibly the most popular opera of all time, being performed.

The event will take place rain or shine, unless, of course, if there's a thunderstorm - no one wants to be the guy holding a giant piece on metal in a thunderstorm. The crowds for previous years' performances have been absolutely massive, so make sure you get there early if you want a good seat.
