Peace Park, the downtown enclave where skateboarding is now officially allowed, is turning twenty, and to celebrate, the SAT, Quartier des Spectacles, the borough of Ville-Marie, and David Boots are joining forces to throw an epic 20th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 20th.

Entirely free, Peace Park's 20th birthday party will be a day filled with a variety of cool things to check out, like a Hip Hop and Reggae show, a free spaghetti dinner, a big ol' birthday cake, and and in-line with Peace Park's reputation as a hub for Montreal skaters, there will also be a series of skateboarding competition with $2000 in cash prizes to be won.

A special film screening will also be held at the 20th anniversary party. The film to be shown will be "Peaceful Memories" a compilation of special moments which occurred in Peace Park over the last twenty years. Only to be shown once, the party will be your only chance to see  the film.

Peace Park's 20th anniversary party will be held on Saturday, September 20th starting at 1pm. Get all the details and receive any updates by heading to the Facebook event page here.
