Drinkers of Montreal (so everyone) get your wine and whiskey glasses ready, because your two favourite W's are coming out in full force this weekend at Place Bonvanture thanks to La Grande Dégustation de Montréal, a two day festival all about drinking culture.

Starting on November 7th, Place Bonaventure will be home to nearly 200 different alcohol vendors, from winemakers, to beer brewers, to the distillers of the finest liquors. The entire world will be represented at the weekend-long festival, with special attention paid to South Africa and the many whiskeys of the world, both being the featured country and spirit selected for the 2014 edition of La Grande Dégustation de Montréal.

More than just beverages will be available at the event, as there will be a huge number of  products and foods available to be purchased. Vendors will range from chocolatiers to magazines to wineries, all of whom will be giving you the goods to help you get gourmet with your drinking.

Over 1, 200 exclusive wines will be sold at La Grande Dégustation de Montréal, all from around the world, many of which will be exclusive to the event. Even if you're not a wine lover, being able to say "you can't get this bottle anywhere else" will instantly make you classy, and is the perfect line to drop on a date.

La Grande Dégustation de Montréal will be held at Place Bonvanture this weekend from November 7th to 8th. Get more details at the event's official website and Facebook page here.
