Montreal's Saint-Catherine Street To Play Host To The City's Biggest Summer Graffiti Festival In August

Under Pressure, the largest and longest running graffiti festival in North America, makes its triumphant return to Montreal this August. For the 19th time, Under Pressure till take over St. Cats and transform the street into an artistic event like no other, with artists of every kind out in full force.
Over two days, Under Pressure will showcase street artists and musical performers, as the event is a combo graffiti and hip hop festival. Your eyes and ears will be simultaneously amazed,, as urban art is plastered on Montreal's many walls while musicians perform for all to hear.
Community involvement and betterment are major focuses of Under Pressure, as the event was created to change public perception and show how graffiti doesn't need to be have a "bad" connotation. Since 1996, Under Pressure has maintained this mandate, and has grown to become the international graffiti festival we know today.
Running from August 9th to 10th, Under Pressure will be taking over St. Catherine between Berri and St. Laurent (map) with tons of events going on like bboy and bgirls battles, skate ramps set up for competitions and random riding alike, a kid's area, and the creation of some sexy new street art.
