A brand new Indian bistro is opening its doors this week, and unlike many Indian restaurants, you will find a strong Montreal influence at this establishment, namely cocktails and poutines, so get excited. GURU is the name of the new Indian resto situtated on St. Denis street, and they'll be throwing a special 5@7 party this Thursday in celebration of their grand opening.
Like many Indian restaurants, GURU will have many of your favourite dishes on the menu, including Tandoori dishes, all sorts of curries, butter chicken, and a long list of vegetarian classics.
Unlike most Indian restaurants, and why we're excited for GURU to open, is how the restaurant is fully embracing Montreal culture into its cuisine. GURU will serve food fusions like lamb curry poutines, butter chicken poutines, and tandoori club sandwiches, along with a long list of specialty cocktails.
Opening this Thursday, October 9th, GURU will be holding a grand opening 5@7 with some pretty sweet deals on drinks. Sip on 2 drinks for $15, including a special "Bollywood" cocktail, Indian whiskeys, and glasses of wine as you experience the food and ambiance of GURU for the first time.
