Just when you thought you wouldn't see another sidewalk sale until summer 2015, a miracle happens, a Halloween miracle (the best kind) that brings the joys of street shopping to the spookiest time of year. Totally free, open to the public, and going down on St. Laurent this weekend will be The Bazaar of the Bizarre, a Halloween-tastic sidewalk sale.
The Bizarre Bazaar will be a a street side market for all things weird and strange, ranging from arts and crafts, to clothing, and everything in between. Kiosks and tables will feature the works of local Montreal fashion designers, artists, and creators of all things interesting, meaning you'll find stuff at the Bizarre Bazaar you can't at any standard store in the mall .
Keeping the spooky sidewalk sale's energy alive will be a whole string of DJ sets, which number five in total. Combine the beats with the theme and all the strange vendors + Montrealers who will definitely attend and you have a sidewalk sale that is a bit more dynamic and strange than any that go down in the summer.
Montreal's free Halloween sidewalk sale The Bizarre Bazaar will begin at 3pm on Sunday, October 19th @ 1653 St. Laurent (map). Get all the info on vendors, DJ sets, and any updates at the Facebook event page here.
