Ah, school. Such a bitter-sweet relationship: sometimes, you don't truly appreciate how awesome your school is/was until you're gone, which is why I think we should all take a minute to talk about the amazing experience that is TAV College.
TAV College is an affordable private college in Cote-des-Neiges, offering some really awesome DEC programs! For those who don't know, a DEC (diplôme d’études collégiales or diploma of college studies) is a program that can help prepare you for University or get a job right after graduating. It's actually a college level diploma that is unique to Quebec!
TAV College is awesome for honestly so many reasons but there's a couple standouts that are really worth mentioning. First and foremost, they have a large selection of programs - from Springboard to DEC, Early Childhood Education, Sciences, Communication, Special Education, and Social Science... the list goes on! Additionally, they also have many professional AEC programs. No matter what your passion is, you know you can find it at TAV College.
Plus, if you're anything like me (hello switching your major three times) and maybe a little undecided about what you want to do, TAV College is the perfect place to try out something you like. TAV has super friendly personnel who will guide you to the program and courses that will help you achieve your goals. Admissions are personalized and each application is considered on a case by case basis - plus, they even have the Springboard to DEC, which gives you the opportunity to have a second chance if you weren't super serious in High School.
Another reason to love this College is it gives the opportunity for students to study in smaller classes and therefore have an educational environment that gives more time and more focus to each individual student. Some University classes can legit have over 500 students and the professor will NEVER even know your name, so if you're someone who works and learns better in a smaller more focused environment - TAV College is for you. Each teacher will actually get to know you and your specific needs so that if you do end up needing some support and guidance, you know you're getting the attention and good advice that you deserve.

It's an awesome multicultural environment that prides itself on its inclusion of everybody. There are extra-curricular activities and social clubs, as well as games and activity rooms on-site.
Honestly, what are you waiting for - TAV College it's definitely worth checking out! Finding your way through post-high school education can be tough and TAV really makes it the best and smoothest transition out there.
