Montreal's 'Ugly-Duckling' Restaurants

I'm the queen of discovering Montreal's hidden gems. You know, the type of spots that look like nothing from the outside, but the food is out of this world and you're left completely mind blown with the whole experience after you're done.
That feeling when you don't want to tell anyone about a restaurant, because you don't want people to know how awesome it is. Has it ever happened to you? Well I know ten Montreal spots that are just like that. It's almost painful to share these spots with you, but I can't help myself. So here are Montreal's 10 "ugly-duckling" restaurants.
1. Ganadara
1862 Maisonneuve Blvd W
Hearty Korean dishes that will leave you 100% satisfied. So delicious and affordable, you'll come begging for more. Bibimbap, seafood pancakes, spicy soup... All the winter necessities under one roof, basically.
2. Yuukai Fusion Japonaise
5658 Av du Parc
Great little place on Parc with amazing affordable sushi, sashimi and it's BYOB. Don't tell anyone about it, because it's legit my favourite spot in its category. Wouldn't want it to get too crowded.

14 Rue Prince Arthur O
It's a perfect place to satisfy your cravings for Vietnamese.Au 14 Prince Arthur Ouest is a neighbourhood staple that not too many Montrealers know about. The food is unbelievably tasty and the prices are very fair.

Best gyro you'll ever have in your life! Enjoy traditional Greek dishes and drinks in a casual setting. I would sell my soul for a bite of their famous grilled chicken right now.
