Montreal's Bass Camp To Feature The City's Best Musicians, DJs, And You, The Music Lover

Imagine four days of parties, music and talent featuring some of your favorite local and international DJ's and producers. Dream no more, because Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp is bringing just that to Montreal.

Haven't heard about Red Bull's Music Academy? The institution provides producers, engineers, vocalists, songwriters, instrumentalists, DJs and producers with an opportunity to gain hands on experience and involvement in the evolution of music. This year, Red Bull Music Academy is taking Montreal by storm.

For four consecutive days of Bass Camp, various local and international music pioneers will be hosting studio sessions, workshops and lectures at the Phi Centre. Once the sun goes down, these talented musicians will be hosting the weekend's hottest parties at various venues around Montreal.

Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp is taking over the city of Montreal for its eccentric music scene. This city has a massive underground music culture which continuously spreads the streets with youth and vibe. Many of the musicians featured in this year's Bass Camp are homegrown artists that call Montreal home, making this city a representation of talent and energy.

Thursday, February 27th: Bump and grind to beats, bass and electronica @ Le Belmont 

  • Why you should go: Support local talents, Lunice, Tommy Kruise, High Klassified and Sash'u by checking out these four acts of homegrown music. Lunice is one of Red Bull Academy's very own graduate and his sets never disappoint. Buy tickets here

Friday, February 28th: Bust out your hip- hop moves a @ S.A.T

  • Why you should go: Killer Mike, Araabmuzic and DJ Yella from across the border will keep your head bumping and your feet stomping all night long. Killer Mike once appeared in the Outkast's Grammy winning song "The Whole World" so he's bound to bring back some of those old school beats! Buy tickets here

Saturday, March 1st: Electronic, house & techno @ UQAM, Coeur Des Sciences

  • Why you should go: For years, Mutek has gained a reputation of providing North America with one of the best electronic music and digital arts experience. Buy tickets here

Sunday, March 2nd: Hip- hop & electo @ Phi Centre

  • Why you should go: Experience the perfect collision between hip hop and electro with Egyptian Lover, Jeremy Greenspan and Prison Garde for a night of sound fusion. Buy tickets here
