Disturbing New Netflix Series "Chambers" Looks Like A Terrifying Combination Of "Psycho" And "The Haunting Of Hill House"

Netflix just released the trailer for their new horror series, Chambers, and it looks seriously scary. The series stars no other than Uma Thurman, the Hollywood powerhouse who brought us Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction.

Based on the trailer and early reviews, this series about a heart transplant gone wrong is poised to be one of the most suspenseful and dramatic horror series Netflix has ever released.

TL;DR Netflix's new horror series Chambers is the story of a young heart attack survivor who becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. It is set to be a thrilling, scary ride.

The series follows a young girl who had a sudden heart attack. She fortunately receives a heart transplant. "Does it... feel any different?" asks her friend in the trailer.

Indeed, "the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor's sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister."

Uma Thurman plays the deceased girl's mother, and she is incredible in her role as a silent yet creepy, grieving parent.

Series creator Leah Rachel said of the show: “Taking place in a mystic, New Age pocket of Arizona, 'Chambers' is a psychological horror story that explores the different ways we metabolize trauma."

"But what starts out as a grounded human story eventually pivots into something far more strange and fucked up than you were expecting,” she continues.
