A 75-year old man was charged with the first-degree murder of his son-in-law on Monday.
It's believed that Gilles Marron, following a family dispute on Sunday, shot and wounded 21-year-old Abdel Hakim Fleury. The incident is believed to have occurred in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough.
Police officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) discovered the victim on the floor with several bullets. He was transported to the hospital in a critical condition and was declared dead by Sunday evening.
The suspect was apprehended by police outside the apartment building.
