More and more of Montreal's cyclists are being injured and killed, according to 2013 statistics released by the Montreal Police and reported in the Gazette.
From 2012 to 2013, 66.7% more cyclists were seriously injured, tickets issued to bike riders nearly doubled (6,809 to 11,536 6,809) and a total six cyclists died.
In an ongoing effort to promote cyclist safety, Radio-Canada took the initiative to create an interactive map of Montreal, highlighting the most dangerous areas for cyclists.
