When was the last time you wished upon a shooting star?
Well then you're about to get your chance, and then some!
Forget one shooting star, the sky will be filled with them. Pretty fitting considering today is Star Wars Day. May the 4th be with you.
Starting tomorrow night at 3:00 am (May 5), a field of debris from Haley's comet will be passing by earth which will cause quite the show.
This is no ordinary meteor shower, these shooting stars will be travelling more than twice as fast as regular ones leaving longer trails of light in the sky.
From 3 am until sunrise you'll be able to see up to 20 meteors an hour.
