The cultural food game in Montreal is likely the best in the country.

I've been lucky to live across this fine nation, and I don't think I've come across as much delicious diversity anywhere else. It could be the overly saturated resto market in town, or it could just be that Montreal is the best, period.

Let's go with the latter. Right? You agree? Good!

One Montreal festival classic always has my mouth watering. I truly love Caribbean food, and this festival knows how to do it right!

A Taste of the Caribbean brings together all the good island eats. From Jamaican jerk chicken (yum!) to the spiced Rums of Grenada and Barbados - A Taste of Caribbean is a true cornucopia of Caribbean heritage and culture.

The festival is very popular, too - as it should be! But it's far more than just a food festival.

Internationally renowned reggae artists, steel pan music, and Calypso singers will be performing all weekend to keep the island vibes flowing through the festival grounds. I've said it many, many time - Montreal needs more reggae events. Even though I'm sure I am sleeping on many, I still say give us MORE!

For their 19th edition of the festival, Taste of the Caribbean will also bring a colourful Trinidian street carnival, arts and crafts and a Caribbean Orchestra! Cooking and Rum mixology demos will also be featured for free, too.

To make things better, it all goes down at the Old Port Clock Tower. This exotic festival of the senses is one you do not want to miss!
