A battle raged between the two TV goliaths, HBO and Netflix, last night at the 70th annual Emmy Awards.

TL;DR  Netflix brought home 23 Emmy Awards. Here are all the winning series that are available to watch now on Netflix Canada.

The ceremonies ended with Netflix proudly making television history! First, Netflix was up for 37 nominations! HBO, on the other hand, was up for only 29.

In the end, Netflix and HBO tied, both taking home exactly 23 Emmy awards. 

HBO did win for the "most important" category "best drama series" with hit show Game Of Thrones. Netflix ended up walking home with a ton of awards marking a historic event for Netflix and T.V. entertainment in general.

Although some of these series air only on Netflix in the U.S., many of the nominated and winning series are available for streaming right now on Netflix Canada.
