A brand-new café at the periphery of the Plateau-Mont-Royal is sure to become a favourite destination for many a Montreal foodie and café enthusiast.

Following in the footsteps of Cinéma Moderne, Café Orr features a coffee shop, movie theatre, and bar combined into a single, stunning venue.

Patrons will be mesmerized by the café interior, which features a mural by artist stikki_peaches that is doubled by its own reflection in the mirrorded wall adjacent to it.

In addition to the towering mural, plants, geometric patterns, and bright colours contribute to the casual but stimulating atmosphere of the restaurant.

As for the movie theatre, a Facebook post confirms that the first film schedule will be available this week!

So far, there is no indication as to what films visitors may expect, so stay tuned to the Café Orr Facebook page!

The café is promoting itself as a space to get some work done by day and a setting for fun, intimate dates or hang-outs by night.

Now that spring has sprung in Montreal (well... mostly), many are looking for an excuse to venture out. Café Orr presents the perfect opportunity.

The café will likely become one of the hottest spots in the city for the summer of 2019.

They also have a vegan-friendly menu!
