California Wildfires Are Spreading To Hollywood Celebrities' Homes
Might be too hot to handle.
The Southern California wildfires have caused a number of celebrity evacuations.
These include Paris Hilton, who tweeted that her house was being evacuated so that her pets could be safe.
Glee Star Lea Michele also had to evacuate. In an interview, she said that she had only two minutes to get out. “I grabbed my cat and that’s all,” she said.
The homes of Harrison Ford, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen, and Tom Brady are also believed to be threatened by the blaze.
Several wealthy neighbourhoods were affected by the wind-swept fires. And so were their wealthy residents.
Prominent among these was media magnate Rupert Murdoch. His estate in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bel Air has been evacuated. The situation at the estate, which also hosts his Moraga Bel winery, was described in an official statement as being "very fluid".
The situation appeared to be considerably more grave for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Malouf. The reality TV star tweeted about the terrible air quality, adding that "my sons' school has closed for the remainder of the week".
Comedian Chelsea Handler also had to flee her home. However, she saw some humour in the situation. "It’s like Donald Trump is setting the world on fire," she tweeted.
At the moment, there are several active fires in and around Los Angeles and Ventura counties. They have been relentless and difficult to contain.
