About a month ago, we let you know that there was a casting call out for a Kevin Hart movie that was going to be filmed in Montreal. The original casting call was for babies that would play Kevin Hart's kids and was open to Canadian kiddies across the country.
Well, now, the same movie is on the hunt again. But this time, they're looking for someone to play the stand-in for none other than Kevin Hart himself.
Do you look like Kevin Hart? Or maybe you know someone who does? If so, keep reading, because this gig is bound to be an experience of a lifetime.
The movie, which is slated to film in Montreal between June 22nd and August 13th, is called "Fatherhood," and it looks like it's going to be one of Hart's first forays into the realm of romcoms.
The story is about a father who loses his wife during childbirth and must then go on raising his daughter without a mother. It looks like there will be the classic mother-in-law antics (no confirmation yet, but the IMDb page makes it look like Alfre Woodard has taken on that role) and some unexpected romance. All the details are listed on eBoss Canada.
The stand-in/photo double role is a paid position for union or non-union actors alike - so don't be intimidated if you've never done this kinda thing before!
At this point, it seems all they need is someone who meets the following requirements:
- An Afro-Canadian/Black Man
- Height between 5’2″ to 5’5″
- Weight between 130 to 145 lbs
To apply for the job, all you need to do is send an e-mail titled "KEVIN HART STAND-IN/DOUBLE – <YOUR NAME>" to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- A few recent photos + a contact phone number
- Your height
- Your weight
- Mention that you found the ad via eBoss Canada
- Provide your agent's information if you have one
