The worker was quickly transported to a hospital while he was in critical condition. At approximately 8:30 a.m., the SQ reported that the 50-year-old man died from his injuries.

As for the suspect, a driver of a crashed car was arrested in the Saint-Apollinaire sector for driving while impaired by alcohol.
