It'll be bigger and brighter than last year!
If you got a chance to visit Illumi Cavalia in Laval this past winter, you know just how much of a it is. And, it's coming back in 2020 three times larger than it originally was! This year, the Illumi circuit will be transformed into a drive-through version, offering a completely new journey for customers.
For several weeks now, the Cavalia team has been working on this project, which will be presented from October 2, 2020 to January 10, 2021 on the North Shore.
According to the team, it promises to be even more grandiose than the first edition.
The whole thing will take place on a site three times bigger where 18 fantastic paintings as well as 10 new universes will be displayed.
Since the opening will be in the fall, it'll start off with a Halloween theme and discover a winter world come November.
This new way of browsing the site will allow people to respect the instructions of physical distancing so they can live out a magical experience in complete safety.
In addition, for those who don't have their own vehicle, you'll be able to get to the site by public transit.
Once there, and will then be invited to board small trains specially equipped to visit the universes.
A total of 30,000 light structures and 15 million LED bulbs will be part of the show.
Last year, the event attracted nearly 500,000 visitors in just eight weeks.
There has yet to be any confirmation regarding the cost of tickets revealed at this time.
