Montreal is definitely a good city to grab a drink. The city has no shortage of watering holes, from your laid-back neighbourhood dive bar to the many ritzier options that one can find downtown.

Now that summer is approaching and days are getting longer, many are drawn to the 5 à 7 on one of Montreal's many patios. Gone are the days when we head home as fast as possible to dive right into our blankets.

If you're looking for a great place to grab a drink, look no further! Canada's Top 100 has released its list of the best bars in the country. Their criteria? Bars need "an atmospheric setting and an exceptional beverage program." Not to mention a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

These 6 Montreal bars made it into their top 50 list.
