And now we're back with another street food and culture festival happening next month: A Taste of the Caribbean 2019!
The festival is celebrating its 20th year in the Old Port of Montreal, so you know that they're going to go all out with food, rum tastings and dancing 'til dawn.
Yes, you can eat, drink and dance the Caribbean way from Thursday, July 11th to Sunday, July 14th in Montreal's Old Port during A Taste of the Caribbean, a four-day celebration of all things Caribbean.
There will be rum tastings as well as mixology demonstrations so you can learn to mix your cocktails just like they do at the beach-side bars on the islands.
The event is also family-friendly with lots of activities for kids and adults alike.
This year is, in fact, the Dance Edition, so you'll be able to try out a variety of dance styles that explore African and colonial influences that make up the Caribbean culture of dance.
There will be daily dance workshops that are free to attend alongside performances from talented Caribbean dancers that live in Montreal.
The Rum Zone is also returning with mixology demonstrations to go with your food sampling. And, oh yes, there will be food.
