Ciara Was In Montreal Last Weekend And She Took The Most "Montreal" Photo Ever
It's absolutely i-cone-ic.
- Ciara was in town this past weekend to give a performance for Montreal Pride.
- During her stay, she snapped a photo in front of a painfully familiar Montreal landscape.
- The singer stayed in the Fairmont Reine Elizabeth hotel in the same room where John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their "sleep in."
Ciara was in the city last weekend to give a jaw-dropping performance at the Montreal Pride celebration. The singer and songwritter, who is most famous for her song "One, Two Step," made the most of her time in the city.
The singer joined several other famous performers who stopped by Fierté Montreal, like Arianne Moffat, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Latrice Royale.
The singer took some time out of her busy schedule to snap a few photos in the city. Although all of the photos were iconic, one post in particular stuck out to Montrealers for being emblematic of the city.
The photo shows Ciara posing in the amazing red jumpsuit and oversized black hat that she performed in for Pride.
In the background, a line of orange cones, the kind that litter the Montreal streets day and night, is clearly visible.
Though most of the comments just point out how fire that outfit is, many fans were quick to notice the iconic Montreal cones, commenting things such as "them cones just give away the city I'm done 😂😂 #Legoland" and "You know you're in Montreal when the orange cylinders are in your background."
During her time here, the singer stayed in the famous Fairmont Le Reine Elizabeth, the hotel where John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their bed-in and recorded "Give Peace A Chance."
The singer, wearing a bathrobe and minimal makeup, recreated the iconic shot.
She isn't the only celebrity who has been spotted in Montreal this summer. The city has hosted many famous individuals, fromto . Kevin Hart, who was recently in town shooting his new movie, also posed in front of the orange cones.
Who else are the orange cones going to photobomb?
