IKEA Is Launching Contactless Curbside Furniture Pick-Ups In Quebec

Whether you're looking to spruce up your apartment after staring at the same objects for weeks or preparing for the upcoming moving season, Curbside Click & Collect could be a solution.
For a $5 flat rate, shoppers all across Canada will be able to place their orders without having to worry about delivery times.
IKEA notes that it has "implemented enhanced health and safety measures for Curbside Click & Collect, including:"
"a completely contactless exchange between co-worker and customer;
"enhanced physical distancing protocol across all operations;
"personal protective equipment (PPE) for co-workers;" and
"rigorous sanitization and cleaning of units and surfaces including loading carts."
Curbside Click & Collect hours will vary according to location, according to the IKEA website. As you checkout, you will be able to find a time slot that works best for you.
"Today, life at home is more important than ever, with many families across Canada adapting to a new normal, whether that’s home schooling or working full-time from home," the company writes in a statement.
"We’re committed to continuing to provide our customers with the home furnishing and hardware solutions to support these needs, while following the recommendations of local health authorities."
IKEA states that Curbside Click & Collect will launch in Quebec on May 11.
However, retail establishments in the Montreal area, including Boucherville, which has its own IKEA store, are now not scheduled to open .

Right now, IKEA is having a sale on couches and home accessories, which you can check out on the website from until June 17, 2020.
The website also shows that there is a 20% discount on outdoor furniture and coffee tables.
