Although the Autumn Equinox kicked off the fall season on September 22 with record cold temperatures across Canada, mother nature is bringing the heat back to Montreal with summer-like weather this weekend — bless her heart.

The Weather Network's forecast for the week of September 22 shows 25ºC on Saturday and 23ºC on Sunday.

30ºC

"feels like" temperatures this Saturday in Montreal

However, "feels like" temperatures are expected to reach as high as 30ºC on Saturday and 27ºC on Sunday with showers.

What's more — if you haven't been out of the house yet today — is that this afternoon is also unseasonably warm and beautiful: it's expected to feel like 24ºC at 4 p.m. so head outside... or at least open a window.

In Quebec's Fall 2020 forecast, the Weather Network says that October and November will feature "extended periods of mild fall weather."

This is in direct contrast to last year, where we saw an annoyingly early winter and historic snowstorms.

So break out your tanning oil, take a walk to Montreal's alien park or blend some frozen margaritas because this weekend could be your last chance at warmth before the bitter chill of winter returns to Quebec.
