The RCMP believe that a man who has been charged with several offences that allegedly occurred this past July in Surrey, B.C. is now in the Montreal area in an attempt to flee.

The charges against Meaz Nour Eldin, seen on the left, above, include kidnapping, unlawful confinement, aggravated assault, robbery and firearm offences.

Seen on the right, above, is Nathan Bathelette, who was also party to the alleged crime and also had these warrants out for his arrest.

Barthelette was stopped at the Canada-U.S. border near the Pacific Coast Highway as he was attempting to cross into the States and has now been taken into cutody.

Nour-Eldin is still managing to evade police, which is why they have now asked for the public's help in providing any information about his current location.

While Nour-Eldin is being charged with some pretty serious crimes, the police have indicated that it was an "isolated and targeted incident," which would imply that the RCMP don't believe he is an immediate danger to the public at large.

The RCMP are asking that anyone with any information about the fugitive's whereabouts should contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-533-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

The RCMP sent the tweet below out on August 6th, about a month after the alleged crime, indicating that both the men were wanted on several warrants of arrest.

About a month later, on September 3rd, Nathan Barthelette was arrested at the border.

So it would seem that the two suspects split up and went in opposing directions, as RCMP now believe that Meaz Nour-Eldin has made his way to Montreal.

He evidently has black hair and dark brown eyes. What you can't see in the picture provided are the tattoos on his left hand, left wrist and upper torso.

RCMP in Surrey have believed that Nour-Eldin was headed east towards Ontario or Quebec as early as August 6th, and now believe he is in Montreal, more specifically.

The crimes involved other suspects that have "already been charged and remain in custody," for the incident that included kidnapping and assault.

If you spot Nour-Eldin in Montreal (or anywhere, for that matter), contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
