Remember the snow that landed in our city just a few short days ago? Well, according to Montreal weather predictions, it shouldn't be back again anytime soon. While a promise of such can't be made, since we know the unpredictability of our city's temperatures, we can be happy to know that there's no snow in The Weather Network's 14-day forecast for Montreal.

I come bearing good news: the temperatures are about to go way up during the next two weeks! If you spend all year waiting for the return of summer, now's your time to shine.

This also means that if you haven't already, it's time to invest in some sunscreen. And maybe some sandals too.

The Old Farmer's Almanac predicted that Southern Quebec would be getting some warmer than normal May temperatures by the end of the month, and it looks like it could be right.

Good weather means you can go on a nice solo stroll through the city while sipping on a delicious iced coffee.

I don't know about you, but that's exactly what my summer dreams are made of.

During the past few weeks, the hot weather has led many Montreal to frequent some of the city's most popular parks.

Mayor Valérie Plante has spoken out to tell us what is and isn't allowed right now in regards to such.

Basically, Plante reminded everyone that we still aren't allowed any form of gathering. But, she said, as long as you make sure to keep your two-metre distance from others while in the park, you should be fine.

The Mayor stressed that getting outside and enjoying the nice weather is important for one's health.

So, you are permitted to enjoy a nice, socially distant walk, too.

And now, for your 14-day weather report brought to you by The Weather Network, with a little help from MTL Blog.

This upcoming week has a lot of sun in the forecast, which means you can expect brighter days ahead!

Although we're seeing some rain, the probability of precipitation is only high for next Sunday. Nothing we can't handle.

Summer may only technically start on June 20, but it looks like the city could be feeling its favourite season a whole month earlier this year.

19 C three days in a row? May's looking pretty good right about now.

Needless to say, Gemini season is coming in hot.
