Canadians continue to celebrate the Toronto Raptors NBA championship win. Today, millions of people are reportedly taking to the streets in Toronto to take part in the team's victory parade.
Major companies, too, are offering special, limited-time promotions to Canadians to celebrate the Raptors' historic victory — the first championship title of any major Canadian team since 1993.
Last week, Harvey's was giving out free burgers at locations across the country. On Friday, both Air Canada and Air Transat slashed all fares by 15% to capitalize on the hype surrounding the Raptors win.
Today, Taco Bell will follow up with its own promotion. As promised, the fast-food chain will be handing out FREE Doritos Locos Tacos to Canadian patrons.
On May 28th, the company first teased its "Steal a Game, Steal a Taco" deal. "If a team steals a game on the road then everyone steals a FREE Doritos Locos Tacos," Taco Bell Canada wrote in a Tweet.
There is "no pruchace necessary," according to the promotion terms and conditions. Though each customer is only entitled to one free taco. The promotion is also only valid while supplies last at participating locations.
