According to a study by The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, women earn an average of 68 cents for every dollar their male counterparts make. When looking at senior manager roles, the gap closes in at 86 cents for every dollar.
The same study concludes that on average, men in Canada earn $950,000 more per year than women who are in similar executive positions.
