At 1:15 AM in Thursday morning, a reinforced concrete beam fell from the Highway 15 overpass to St. Patrick St.

The incident occurred when crews were taking apart the ramp for Highway 20 West from Highway 15 North. They were using a crane for the operation, during the course of which an operator realized that one of the cables couldn't support the load.

A snapped cable could be seen on Thursday morning, hanging from a crane near the site of the incident.

As a result, St-Patrick Street was closed between de l'Église Avenue and Cabot Street in both directions till 7:30 a.m.

The closure resulted in a number of traffic headaches.

There were no injuries resulting from the accident.
